Calling all high school and college students!
Construct and submit a poster to inspire and promote exciting careers in cybersecurity. The goal of the poster contest is to engage young people in learning more about careers in cybersecurity through the creation of posters that will encourage peers to explore, discover, and pursue a career in cybersecurity.
CyberUp has partnered with NICE and Mastercard to host a high school through college “Careers in Cybersecurity” poster contest. The partners believe that young people know best how to craft messages and the images that will resonate with their peers.
Join in the fun. Help demystify the multiple work roles in cybersecurity and you could win a cash prize!

Starting November 9, 2020 – K12 teachers invited to introduce their students to cybersecurity concepts and careers through Mission Challenges.
To help teachers and students observe National Cybersecurity Career Awareness Week, LearningBlade has teamed up with Comic-BEE to provide K12 teachers additional ways to introduce their students to cybersecurity concepts and careers. The LearningBlade system is built in the concept of "missions." These missions allow students to explore and think about how people interact with technology and different types of information, data analytics of information, and how important it is to protect data.
Comic-BEE is offering a unique way to further extend the Mission Challenges –allowing students to create web comics that explore core aspects of a Mission Challenge, specific cybersecurity concerns related to a Mission, or cybersecurity work roles that could be involved in a Mission.

November 9 - 13, 2020
Teams of students will take on the role of Department of Homeland Security (DHS) agents as they investigate realistic scenarios related to cybersecurity with potential national ramifications. The agents will analyze briefings filled with documents related to the event and sift through to find what is pertinent to the questions of who did it, how they did it, and why they did it. The students will have to think critically about the information they read, work cooperatively as a team to accurately find a solution, and effectively communicate their findings to their supervisor(s) while also giving a suggested next step for the DHS to take.
Each day during the week of November 9 at 7 pm Eastern (4 pm Pacific), facilitators from CYBER.ORG will be live online to release the next briefing packet of information that investigators will need to research the mystery.
