April 15, 2020 | 2:00-3:00 PM EDT
Synopsis
The role of the school counselor has evolved over the past two decades, including ensuring that students are equipped with information about educational and career options in cybersecurity and other STEM-related fields. This webinar will share how school counselors work with students in an elementary, middle, and high school setting; how they stay informed of workforce trends, employer needs, and career possibilities; and how they ensure that they have the knowledge and skills they need to guide students into a variety of career pathways. Representatives from a public education career center, a school district, and the American School Counselor Association will highlight how career development is fundamental to student success.
