As 2018 draws to a close, the NICE Program Office extends our warmest greetings for a joyous holiday season and a Happy New Year!
To help us celebrate and acknowledge all that we’re achieving together as a community, a high-level list of 2018 accomplishments is provided online and a summary is listed below.

Event Engagement
Between the NICE Conference & Expo and the NICE K12 Cybersecurity Education Conference, over 1000 attendees came together to explore ways of developing a skilled cybersecurity workforce ready to meet the challenges of the future. #NICEK12 featured the first every Cyber Signing Day, which recognized students who signed on for cybersecurity internships or to pursue cybersecurity degrees.

The 2nd annual National Cybersecurity Career Awareness Week also brought together numerous attendees through over 60 events and activities aimed at inspiring and promoting awareness & exploration of cybersecurity careers. Additionally, a toolkit which can be accessed year-round was developed this year to provide resources and materials to help promote cybersecurity careers.
