Single Photon Workshop 2017


On July 31-August 4, 2017, NIST will host the Single Photon Workshop 2017, which will be held at the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado. SPW2017 is the eighth installment in a series of international workshops on single-photon generation and detection technology and applications. Registration deadline is July 24, 2017.

The accuracy of a 60 m tape can be measured within about 0.1 millimeters, about the thickness of a piece of paper.
