Welcome to the First NICE eNewsletter
Welcome to the inaugural eNewsletter of the National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE). NICE, led by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), fulfills its mission by coordinating with academia, government, and industry partners to build on existing successful programs, facilitate change and innovation, and bring leadership and vision to increase the number of skilled cybersecurity professionals to help keep our nation secure.
This quarterly communication will be used as a method to keep you informed about community programs and events. In each edition, you will find a Feature Article that highlights an initiative that supports the NICE strategic plan and Spotlight Articles that focus on developments in academia, industry, and government. You will also find a calendar of upcoming events and updates on NICE’s affiliated programs and federally funded projects. We will also report on the progress of the NICE Working Group.
