How does HIV affect mood, memory and thinking? National Institutes of Health studies seek to find out. Join a study enrolling participants with HIV.

Participants must be:

  • 25-55 years of age
  • Fluent English speakers
  • HIV positive, and free of certain medical conditions (call to find out)

Research study includes:

  • 1-5 visits
  • Cognitive evaluations, medical history, physical exam, blood work and brain scans
  • Optional follow up visits every 6 months for 1-4 years

Research Study Location: NIH Clinical Center in Bethesda, Maryland (Metro Red Line: Medical Center). There is no cost to participate and compensation is provided. Health insurance is not required to participate. Transportation may be reimbursed.
