The Division of Services and Intervention Research (DSIR) at the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) is seeking input on the impact of DSIR-supported research on mental health practice and mental health policy.
DSIR is interested in comments and examples of how DSIR might address the following topics through research:
- The impact NIMH’s experimental therapeutics requirement has had on the mental health services field
- Information needed by people with lived experiences, providers, health and practice systems, health plans, and policymakers that could be collected through NIMH-DSIR funded research
- Areas of expertise needed to advance mental health services research, and how can these skills be cultivated, especially among early career researchers
- Examples of mental health services research funded by NIMH and other institutes and organizations that has had an impact on mental health policy
- Research topics or questions that would make the greatest impact on access to high quality mental health care
How to submit responses
All responses must be submitted electronically on the RFI submission website.
All responses must be received by September 1, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. ET.
