The National Institute of Mental Health of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) is seeking healthy volunteers to participate in a research study: Brain Imaging of Childhood Onset Psychiatric Disorders, Endocrine Disorders and Healthy Volunteers. This study seeks to understand behavior and brain development during childhood and through young adulthood. Currently enrolling: • 5-25 year old males • 5-25 year old females • Healthy without any current or past psychiatric or neurological disorders During the study, you will: • Have one initial outpatient visit that will last about 6 hours, and visits every 2 years • Have a physical exam and cognitive testing • Have bloodwork and an MRI of your brain There is no cost for participation, compensation is provided for participation in this outpatient visit or any tests associated with the research. Children must have permission from their parent(s). Research study visits take place at the NIH Clinical Center, America’s Research Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland.
