This funding opportunity announcement invites Phase II SBIR applications to test promising cerebrovascular interventions in the NINDS Stroke Preclinical Assessment Network (SPAN). SPAN will facilitate the testing of up to 8 promising cerebroprotective drugs or interventions to be given prior to or at the time of reperfusion in experimental models of ischemic stroke
DEADLINE: March 14, 2022
All NHLBI grantees with an active Phase I (R41/R43) small business award or a Fast-Track (R42/R44) award in the Phase I stage are now eligible to request up to $6,500 to support subcontracts or consultants that provide TABA services. Find all participating institutes in NOT-OD-21-062.

Small businesses are encouraged to develop technologies and products that engage, empower, and motivate individuals, and communities, including providers and healthcare institutions, in sustainable health promoting activities and interventions that lead to improved health, healthcare delivery, and the elimination of health disparities in one or more NIH-defined population groups who experience health disparities including racial and ethnic minorities.
