NIMHD is Supporting Social Epigenomics Research on Minority Health and Health Disparities 

NIMHD is soliciting research to support and accelerate human epigenomic investigations focused on identifying and characterizing the mechanisms by which social experiences at various stages in life, both positive and negative, affect gene function and thereby influence health trajectories or modify disease risk in racial/ethnic minority and other health disparity populations.

NIMHD in partnership with NIA and NHGRI encourages investigators to submit applications and welcomes inquiries concerning this FOA. Review the funding opportunity for more information on eligibility and application submissions.

Open Date (Earliest Submission Date): October 6, 2019

Letter of Intent Due Date: 30 days prior to the application due date

Application Due Dates: November 6, 2019, November 6, 2020, November 8, 2021, by 5:00 PM local time for applicant organization
