Free AHRQ App to Help Patients Prepare for Medical Visits
National Institute on Minority Health and Health Disparities sent this bulletin at 04/02/2019 10:30 AM EDT
The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) has launched a new mobile app for smartphones, tablets, and laptop computers to help patients be more engaged in their health care. Research has demonstrated that outcomes are best when patients are active members of the healthcare team. The AHRQ Question Builder app – available at no charge from iTunes and Google Play – helps patients prepare and organize questions and other helpful information prior to medical visits.
The web version of the AHRQ Question Builder, which allows patients to create and print a list of questions they want to ask at their medical appointment, is still available online at: https://www.ahrq.gov/patients-consumers/question-builder.html.
