For National Minority Mental Health Awareness Month in July, NIMHD joined the American Psychological Association Public Interest Directorate and the National Council for Behavioral Health to co-host a Twitter chat on the effects of discrimination and stress on minorities' mental health. Federal agencies, nonprofits, and community members shared insights on racism's effects and mental health resources for people of color.
