Dear Colleagues,
Throughout the years, with your help, NIDA has shared resources to start and inform conversations on the science of alcohol and other drug use and the developing teen brain during the annual National Drug and Alcohol Facts Week® (NDAFW) event. As NDAFW 2023 draws near, March 20-26, NIDA welcomes your support in continuing to bring together scientists, students, educators, healthcare providers, and community partners to help youth in your community and nationwide make informed decisions about alcohol and other drugs, and support their mental health.
Below you will find featured activities that showcase NIDA’s resource offerings and ideas for getting involved in an NDAFW event. You will also find access to graphics for use in any email or social media promotions, along with sample social media language.
Thank you in advance for your ongoing support of NDAFW.
Jennifer A. Hobin, PhD (she/her) Director, Office of Science Policy and Communications Chief of Staff National Institute on Drug Abuse
