NIH RECOVER Research Identifies Long COVID Disparities
Black and Hispanic Americans appear to experience more long COVID symptoms and health problems than white people, but are not as likely to be formally diagnosed with the condition, according to new research funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH).

According to a large observational study supported by NIH, adults living in rural areas have a 19% higher risk of developing heart failure compared to their urban counterparts. That risk is even higher, 34%, in rural-dwelling Black men.
