U.S. adults will soon have another vaccine to protect them against COVID-19. The Novavax COVID-19 vaccine proved to be safe and effective at preventing moderate-to-severe disease during clinical trials. CDC has recommended that the primary series consist of two doses given three to eight weeks apart.
