Registration is now open for the Cancer Neuroscience and Symptoms Workshop, taking place virtually on November 16–17, 2026.
Convened by the National Cancer Institute, this workshop will provide a forum focused on the neuropathogenesis of cancer symptoms, with emphasis on addressing knowledge gaps, identifying exploitable molecular targets, and developing intervention strategies for prevention and treatment of cancer symptoms and long-term sequelae.
Workshop Goals
- Define the most important scientific questions at the intersection of cancer neuroscience and symptom science.
- Clarify where mechanistic insight is strongest, where major knowledge gaps remain, and where new human-based methods are most needed.
- Produce a practical agenda for future collaborative research and translational development.
There is no cost to attend, but registration is required.
If you require reasonable accommodations to participate, please contact Denise Gnipp at least 7 business days prior to the meeting
