Tengteng Wang, Ph.D., professor, Rutgers Cancer Institute and Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, will give a talk on “Microbes, Hormones, and Diet: Translating Microbiome Science into Breast Cancer Prevention and Control,” and Abel Martel, Ph.D., postdoctoral fellow, University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, will give a talk on "Decoding the Immune Landscape of Mismatch Repair–Deficient Colorectal Carcinogenesis.”

Call for Nominations – Early Career Scientist Opportunity

Early Career Scientists

The NCI Division of Cancer Prevention is issuing a call for nominations to feature early career scientists conducting research within the mission of the Division.

NCI will feature selected investigators on DCP’s website and social media. Selected Investigators will also be invited to present their research to the broader NCI community through the DCP Early Career Scientist Spotlight Research Seminar Series. The overall goal is to increase visibility and provide recognition to the early career scientists conducting research within the areas supported by DCP.

Nominations are due July 31, 2026.
