FDA Approvals
Pembrolizumab Approved for Melanoma Following Surgery

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has expanded the approved indications for pembrolizumab (Keytruda) to include the treatment of people aged 12 years or older with stage 2B, 2C, or 3 melanoma. Pembrolizumab may now be used to prevent melanoma from coming back after it has been removed by surgery.
Rituximab Approved for Children with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma (NHL)

We’ve updated our drug summary on rituximab (Rituxan) with an expanded FDA approval. Rituximab is now approved to treat children 6 months and older with previously untreated diffuse large B-cell NHL or Burkitt lymphoma.
