Annual Report to the Nation on the Status of Cancer, 1975-2012
 
On March 9, 2016, we published the Annual Report to the Nation on the Status of Cancer, 1975-2012 in the journal Cancer in collaboration with the American Cancer Society, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the North American Association of Central Cancer Registries. In addition to reporting rates and trends for the most common cancers, this year's report includes a special section about liver cancer.

This year's Report to the Nation shows that death rates continued to decline for all cancers combined, as well as for most cancer sites for men and women of all major racial and ethnic populations. The report also describes trends in liver cancer.
