At the council’s February 5, 2016, meeting, Dr. Martin Blaser spoke on
“Perturbing the Early Life Microbiome and Its Consequences.” Dr. Blaser
is an NIH grantee and Singer Professor of Medicine and Professor of
Microbiology at New York University Langone Medical Center, where he
also directs the Human Microbiome Program.
