Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) is the main cause of mononucleosis and is associated with some cancers.
The NIH Clinical Center is looking for healthy volunteers ages 18-25 who have never had infectious mononucleosis(MONO) to screen for a clinical trial. If you meet the screening requirements, you may be eligible to enroll in an investigational vaccine clinical trial. To qualify, you must live in the DC area, Maryland, or VA.
Participation is free for eligible participants enrolled in this investigational vaccine clinical trial. Compensation will be provided, up to $2,050 over the course of the trial.
