Notification Date: November 23, 2015
Dear Customer,
The processing schedule for Pay Period 24, 2015, is being changed in an effort to expedite salary payments to our customers during this Holiday season.
The National Finance Center’s (NFC’s) PP24 Payroll Processing System (PAYE) schedule will change as follows:
The First Pass of PAYE will execute on Wednesday December 16, 2015. The Second Pass of PAYE will execute on Thursday, December 17, 2015.
It is requested that department/agencies submit T&As early so that the majority of employees will be paid on the first PAYE pass and will receive their Direct Deposit net salary payments early. In order to successfully accomplish this change, we are requesting that agencies ensure all T&As are transmitted to NFC as early as Friday, December 11, 2015, but no later than the close of business on Monday, December 14, 2015.
An earlier “pending” or “memo posting” to employee bank accounts may occur depending on when the employee’s financial institution retrieves and processes their transactions during the weekend before Christmas. All employees are encouraged to verify payment posting through their financial institutions.
As always, the NFC Operations and Security Center (OSC) will be available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week at 1-800-767-9641, 504-426-6435, or via email to osc.etix@usda.gov.
Federal employees with questions concerning this notification should contact their Servicing Personnel Office. Authorized agency representatives with questions concerning this notification should contact the NFC Contact Center at 1-855-NFC-4GOV (1-855-632-4468) or via the Internet using Remedy Requester Console.
