NEH Summer Seminars and Institutes

Landmarks of American History and Culture Workshops

Place-based one-week workshops take K-12 educators to historic sites to explore central themes in American history and government, literature, art, music, and related humanities topics. New Orleans: Music, Culture and Civil Rights, the Battle of the Little Bighorn and the legacy of African Americans in New England are examples of what is studied.
