Through interviews with nearly 80 witnesses, the series testifies to the human impact of the war on all sides, American and Vietnamese, soldier and civilian alike. At NEH’s HUMANITIES magazine, Meredith Hindley interviews filmmakers Lynn Novick and Sarah Botstein about the art of interviewing and their work in finding witnesses to the war.
