Tracking First-Time TBI in Service Members
Do you have all the current tools for assessing and treating your TBI patients? Numbers continue to climb—5,002 active-duty service members were diagnosed with a first-time TBI in the third quarter of 2022.
In 2007, the DOD charged TBICoE with reporting the official tally of service members who have sustained TBIs. Since then, we have been tracking and analyzing TBI incidents, causes, and outcomes among the military population, publishing data quarterly at health.mil/TBInumbers. Detailed reports by service branch going back to 2000 are available for download there as well. We offer a wealth of training, clinical recommendations, patient handouts, and other resources. Be part of the solution and check out health.mil/TBIProviders today.
