Dizziness is a term used to describe everything from feeling faint or lightheaded to feeling week or unsteady. Those who have had a concussion may experience dizziness following the injury. It may be due to the injury itself, or maybe from other symptoms such as headaches, neck injuries, and anxiety or medication side effects.
Most people who experience dizziness after concussion will find it resolves on its own without the need for treatment. Be sure to speak to your primary care provider if your symptoms persist so that they can determine the cause and recommend a treatment plan.
