Success Story: CARBRA Construction and Design, Inc.
 |
|
CARBRA Construction and Design, Inc. is a minority- and woman-owned general contracting company in downtown Columbia, SC. An entrepreneur for over 16 years, Betty Price, President and CEO, recognized that her company was not always getting the construction opportunities other businesses got. In the 90% male-dominated industry, women often find it difficult to get the same opportunities as their male counterparts, but not only has Betty met the challenge, with the assistance of the SC MBDA Business Center, she has thrived in CARBRA’s 16-year history.
