Join us in São Paulo for the largest U.S. government-led trade mission and business development forum. Organized by the U.S. Commercial Service, Trade Winds will feature meetings with U.S. commercial diplomats from 20 countries in The Americas, exciting conference programming, and plenty of networking. The registration fee for the forum only is $750 per attendee.
Qualified U.S. businesses may customize their experience with optional business-to-business matchmaking meetings with interested buyers, agents, distributors, or joint-venture partners in Brazil (April 9), as well as Colombia and Uruguay (April 3 - 4), and/or Argentina and Chile (April 10 -11). The registration fee for this option, which includes the business development forum and one mission stop, is $2,200 for the first company representative ($4,200 for companies with over 500 employees) and $500 for each additional company representative. The registration fee for each additional mission stop is $1,200. Note: Additional costs may apply if translation services are needed during these pre-arranged matchmaking meetings, ranging from $300-$600/day. Flight and hotel costs are the responsibility of the traveler.

Trade Winds is a multifaceted program designed to help companies achieve growth and exposure in specific markets or regions around the world. All companies participate in the Trade Winds Forum which includes a business conference, meetings with U.S. commercial diplomats from the region, networking opportunities, two receptions, and a sponsor exhibition. The average Trade Winds Forum attracts over 300 attendees and is the main gathering for all registered individuals. U.S. Exporting businesses may customize their experience with optional business-to-business matchmaking meetings with pre-screened buyers, agents, distributors or joint-venture partners in the host country as well as additional mission stop markets.

The United States Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration (ITA) is organizing an Energy Technologies Trade Mission to Argentina, Chile and Uruguay. From August 25 to 29, 2025, U.S. exporters will travel to Santiago, Montevideo, and Buenos Aires to learn more about market conditions, visit project sites, and meet with potential business partners.
U.S. technologies can provide Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay with the ability to diversify and develop their economies as they decarbonize their footprints and generate new income streams. Participating firms will gain market insights, make industry contacts, solidify business strategies, and advance their specific projects, all to increase U.S. goods and service exports to the region.
The business development mission will include one-on-one business appointments with pre-screened potential buyers, agents, distributors, and joint venture partners. In addition, delegates can participate in meetings with national and regional government officials, chambers of commerce, and business groups. The mission will also include networking receptions for companies interested in expansion into the market. Meetings will be offered with relevant government authorities that can address questions in such areas as procurements, projects, policies, regulations, tariff rates, and incentives.

USTDA RFPs
USTDA connects the U.S. private sector to infrastructure projects in emerging markets. USTDA is one of the leading project preparation facilities operating in Latin America and the Caribbean, supporting more than 700 project activities across 24 of the region’s economies. USTDA focuses its efforts on the economic sectors of strategic importance to U.S. industry and their regional partners, including energy, transportation, information and communications technology, and water.
