U.S. - Korea Supply Chain Commercial Dialogue
Robotics Industry Showcase
December 3rd | 8 PM EST | Virtual
Learn about Initiatives and Opportunities in the US and Korean Robotics Space
In 2022, the U.S. Department of Commerce and Korea’s Ministry of Trade, Industry, and Energy (MOTIE) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to launch the United States – Korea Supply Chain and Commercial Dialogue (SCCD). The SCCD aims to enhance the international competitiveness of both U.S. and Korean industries in key sectors and promote collaboration between companies as they seek mutually beneficial business opportunities in the U.S., Korea, and beyond.
One key area for collaboration established by the SCCD is robotics, a rapidly evolving sector crucial for sustainable supply chains. Robotics enhances production resilience, addresses labor shortages, and boosts efficiency. Its applications are expanding across various markets, including automotive, material handling, warehousing, medical, semiconductors, food and beverage, pharmaceuticals, aerospace, agriculture, and construction.
Hear from Government and Industry Experts from Korea and the United States
Leading robotics industry stakeholders from each country will discuss their involvement in the robotics space, key projects and programs they facilitate, how they engage with industry, as well as opportunities to partner or collaborate within each market.
