Exploring France and Europe's Hydrogen Market and Opportunities

The U.S. Commercial Service, in partnership with France Hydrogène, GL Events, and the Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Energy Association, invites you to join a webinar on the growing market for hydrogen energy in France and all of Europe.

The French government will invest seven billion euros by 2030 to increase the manufacture of electrolysis systems, tanks, fuel cells and related components essential to produce hydrogen from water.  France also wants to install 6.5 GW of hydrogen production capacity from renewable (wind, solar) or nuclear energy.  Webinar speakers will provide insights into French public policy, the status of project development in France, opportunities for U.S. companies to collaborate with French companies, and the experience of a U.S. company active in the hydrogen market in France. 

Pierre Laboué is head of International Relations at France Hydrogène.  France Hydrogène brings together the stakeholders of the French hydrogen sector across the entire value chain committed to the deployment of hydrogen solutions.

Pierre Buchou has played an active role in the hydrogen sector for more than 10 years. After creating and developing Hyvolution Paris as a global leading event, he's now Director of the international development, building partnerships in Americas (Hyvolution Chile + Hyvolution Canda), Middle East and Asia.

Devon Hyver is Director Sales and Market Development of Plug Power’s electrolyzer business, where he is responsible for the expansion of Plug Power’s state of the art PEM hydrogen electrolyzer offerings across South Western Europe, Middle East, Africa and India.
