Build to Scale Program for EDOs
EDA is now accepting applications for its $50 million Build to Scale (B2S) program to support projects that strengthen equitable ecosystems and increase access to capital for innovators, entrepreneurs, and startups. The FY 2023 Build to Scale program is comprised of two competitions – the Venture Challenge and the Capital Challenge. Eligibility is open to cities, counties, states, and other entities listed on website.

When selling your U.S. goods to foreign buyers, one important decision is which Incoterm to use. According to the International Trade Administration, “Incoterms, widely used terms of sale, are a set of 11 internationally recognized rules which define the responsibilities of sellers and buyers. Incoterms specify who is responsible for arranging the movement of the freight, the costs associated with shipping, cargo insurance, documentation, customs clearance, and other logistical activities.” EXIM offers Export Credit Insurance (ECI) which protects U.S. exporters against foreign buyer nonpayment due to political and commercial risks.
