The Global Diversity Export Initiative Trade Mission to Africa is focused on building commercial bridges between U.S. owned or led businesses from underserved communities and business communities in South Africa, Ghana, and Nigeria. The Nigeria stop is optional.
This visit to the continent of Africa can help your organization gain market insights, make industry contacts, solidify business strategies, and advance specific projects. In person and face-to-face.
This is an executive-led mission organized by the U.S. Department of Commerce's U.S. Commercial Service, the lead trade promotion agency of the federal government. Typically, participating in an official U.S. industry delegation, rather than traveling on their own allows U.S. businesses enhanced ability to secure meetings and gain greater exposure in international markets.

September 9 - 24, 2023 | Riyadh, Dhahran, Jeddah
Take advantage of major opportunities in the Saudi Arabia Healthcare sector! ITA is excited to announce a Healthcare Trade Mission to Saudi Arabia on September 9-14, 2023. Saudi Arabia currently accounts for 60% of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries’ total healthcare expenditure, Under Vision 2030 plans to:
- Invest over $65 billion to develop the country’s healthcare infrastructure.
- Increase private sector contribution from 45% to 65%, targeting 290 hospitals and 2,300 health centers.
- Launch “health clusters” and expand the usage of digital health.
The trade mission will include one-on-one business appointments with potential buyers, distributors, and joint venture partners. In addition, delegates will participate in meetings with relevant government authorities such as the Ministry of Health as well as with business groups like the Chamber of Commerce, who will address several topics like procurement, tenders, policies, and regulations.
Target sectors for U.S companies include: Digital Health, Medical Devices, and Hospital Operation and Management. Other firms in the healthcare space will also be considered and should apply.
The participation fee for this trade mission will be $3,100 for small or medium-sized enterprises (SME); and $4,100 for large firms or trade associations. The fee for each additional firm representative (large firm or SME/trade organization) is $1,000 for all three stops. Expenses for travel, lodging, meals, and incidentals will be the responsibility of each mission participant. Interpreter and driver services can be arranged for additional cost.

Trade Mission to Canada and Mexico
September 17-22, 2023
The United States Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration is organizing a trade mission to Canada and Mexico on September 17-22, 2023, that will include the Business Opportunities in the Americas Conference in Washington, DC on September 17-19, 2023.
Trade mission participants will participate in one-on-one meetings (U.S. diplomats and/or industry specialists from 24 U.S. Embassies will be available as well as key service providers and other trade related resources), a trade mission briefing, two networking receptions, a business conference plenary session, two networking lunches, eight workshops and five networking breaks.
U.S. Embassies participating in the event are from the following countries: Argentina, Barbados, Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Suriname, The Bahamas, Trinidad & Tobago, and Uruguay.
Selected trade mission participants will travel to engage in business-to-business appointments with pre-screened potential buyers, agents, distributors or joint-venture partners, in up-to two cities/stops in Canada and/or Mexico.

Get $300,000 to help U.S. firms you serve to export. Trade associations, chambers of commerce, and many other industry-serving non-profits can apply by May 1, 2023, for Market Development Cooperator Program (MDCP) grants. Visit trade.gov/mdcp to learn if your organization is eligible.
