Middle East Clean Tech Trade Mission | March 12-17, 2023 | Saudi Arabia, UAE, Israel, and Qatar
The United States Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration (ITA), is organizing an Executive-Led Clean Tech Trade Mission on March 12-17, 2023 to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Dubai and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, Tel Aviv, Israel, with an optional stop in Qatar.
The executive-led trade mission will introduce U.S. companies and trade associations to the United States’ largest trading partners and four of the largest economies in the Middle East, all of whose governments are investing heavily in Clean Tech to contribute to the global fight against climate change and to diversify and develop their economies..
This mission will include customized one-on-one business appointments with pre-screened potential buyers, agents, distributors, and joint venture partners. Key sectors include: water, waste, air pollution control, renewable energy, clean vehicles and transportation, and smart cities.

Cities Summit of the Americas | April 26-28, 2023 | Denver, Colorado
Cities across the Americas must solve daily problems and prepare for shared future challenges. Innovative companies help our cities meet their goals and deliver services addressing these problems. The Cities Summit will highlight exciting businesses and ideas during an Innovation Plaza commercial exposition April 27-28, 2023 in Denver, Colorado.
Innovation Plaza will run concurrently with the Cities Summit plenary to ensure all attending mayors, governors, and other city leaders engage firsthand with an array of technologies, products, and services that make cities smarter, more accessible, better governed, and sustainable. Companies are invited to submit proposals to participate in Innovation Plaza through the installation of interactive exhibits and displays showing off their companies’ innovative offerings and solutions. Innovation Plaza will include an expanded B2B meeting area, offering space for networking and one-on-one meetings.

Building the Future: Climate Action Executive Forum | February 22-24, 2023 | Mexico City
In collaboration with Sustentabilidad para México, A.C. (SUMe), Green Business Certification, Inc., the U.S. Commercial Service Mexico is organizing a green building event for sustainable products and services providers. The forum will feature different panels related to sustainable construction topics including current industry issues and actions needed to promote green building; highlight the importance of future LEED certifications within the sector; encourage and enhance the work of professionals in sustainable construction; and promote a continuous dialogue within the industry about decarbonization goals.

Turkey: Wastewater Recovery Plant for Soft Drink Producer
- The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is providing private sector funding for a Turkish soft drink producer to, among other projects, build a wastewater recovery plant for one of its factories. The waste water plant is aimed at recycling the large percentage (up to 85%) of waste water produced by production facility, including treatment of re-cycled waters back to drinking water standards.
