The United States will once again be open to European visitors this summer, and it’s time to welcome them back! The U.S. Embassy in Prague will host a Destination Showcase Brunch at the beautiful Petschek Palace, home of the U.S. Ambassador to the Czech Republic.

On April 27, 150 – 250 guests from media, tour operators, corporate clients, government, and partners will be invited to “tour the U.S.” through exhibits, videos, brochures, and other enticing media, while enjoying an American-themed brunch. Destination representatives are welcome to travel to attend the event, but for those that cannot, the Embassy will provide representation space and staffing.

Each participant will receive:

  • A destination presentation at the event
  • A video showing during the event
  • Promotion through U.S. Embassy Prague social media

Market Development Cooperator Program - Funding Opportunity

Do you work for a trade association or other nonprofit group that promotes U.S. exports? Are you interested in grant funding and partnership with the Department of Commerce? Visit trade.gov/mdcp to learn how to apply for ITA’s 2022 Market Development Cooperator Program (MDCP) and win an award of up to $300,000. Awardees partner with ITA on a 3-5-year project designed to remove trade barriers and help U.S. firms to export. The MDCP is the U.S. government’s most successful export assistance program, generating over $300 in U.S. exports for every $1 in ITA funding and supporting an average of 14,000 jobs annually. International Travel Policy Updates

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is requiring all NON-US nationals crossing at our land border ports of entry to show proof of vaccination. This change does not apply to US nationals (citizens, green card holders, etc.). There is no COVID testing requirement, only proof of vaccination.
