“Navigating the USMCA for U.S. Digital

Entertainment & Music Industries”

The United States, Mexico, and Canada have reached an agreement to modernize the 25-year-old NAFTA into a 21st century agreement in line with the digital economy. The United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) will support mutually beneficial trade leading to freer markets, fairer trade, and robust economic growth in North America. The USMCA constitutes the world’s largest trade bloc, with a combined population of 450 million people and total GDP of nearly $25 trillion.

The webinar offers a discussion on how the Free Trade Agreement between the United States, Mexico and Canada (USMCA) offers opportunities for U.S. businesses in the digital and creative economy, with a focus on the music sectors, followed by a Q&A session.

U.S., Canadian and Mexican experts in the entertainment, legal and music sectors will provide an overview of policy changes and opportunities for creators and the digital and copyright industries. Speakers will also discuss their experiences doing business in Canada and Mexico. The conversation will be moderated and followed by an audience Q&A. (Agenda and Speakers in attached flyer above).
