Featured Event: WasteExpo 2020

WasteExpo

The U.S. Commercial Service is excited to partner with WasteExpo to connect participating U.S. companies with international buyers and to provide market counseling from our visiting U.S. Commercial Specialists from markets around the world. WasteExpo will take place May 4-7, 2020 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, LA.  

U.S. companies participating in WasteExpo can now request to request business-to-business matchmaking meetings with  vetted international buyers and request counseling meetings with our visiting Commercial Specialist colleagues from key overseas markets.  To register for our programs, please click on the registration button below or visit HERE.

SIWW

Singapore International Water Week

The Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) is the world’s premier platform to connect the water industry for innovative solutions and sustainable urban water management. The biennial event gathers stakeholders from the global water industry to share best practices, showcase latest technologies and tap business opportunities. Highlights include Water Leaders Summit, a by-invite intimate gathering of global water leaders, Lee Kuan Yew Water Prize which honors outstanding contributions by individuals or organisations towards solving the world’s water challenges, Water Convention, a technical conference for water practitioners to share professional insights and applied solutions, Water Expo @ City Solutions Singapore, the most comprehensive water and environment trade exhibition in the region, and Business Forums, which feature market opportunities in key markets. SIWW 2020 will be held in conjunction with World Cities Summit and CleanEnviro Summit Singapore from at the Sands Expo and Convention Center, Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.

SIWW 2020 has partnered with the U.S. Commercial Service and is offering a USA Pavilion (see below) organized by B-FOR to highlight participating U.S. companies and technologies.  Take advantage of this opportunity to enter or expand in this dynamic part of the world.

Certified Trade Mission to South Africa

The Department of Commerce will lead a Certified Trade Mission to Southern Africa in June, 2020. The Mission will bring U.S. companies to Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Malawi to learn about post-reconstruction needs following devastating Cyclones Idai and Kenneth. Cyclone Idai is regarded as one of the worst natural disasters in the southern hemisphere resulting in billions of dollars of destroyed infrastructure. The United Nations and the World Bank partnered to conduct a full assessment of urgent needs and rebuilding assistance required. Companies participating on the Mission will hear from the development banks, USAID and other donors sourcing suppliers and service providers for technical assistance, construction, building new infrastructure and creating new and improved IT and health systems.

An informative webinar is scheduled for February 20. Webinar speakers from U.S. Embassies in Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Malawi will present on the trade mission objectives and highlight opportunities for U.S. businesses.

USA Fair 2020

The USA Fair is a 3 day conference and exhibition which covers multiple sectors and provides an avenue for US companies to showcase their services/value propositions to a large Nigerian audience. At the maiden edition which held in May 2019, we had 33 US exhibitors and over 5,000 Nigerian attendees, with representation from key government and private sector stakeholders. Exhibition cost only is $2,000 which includes 3m x 3m booth, 1m diameter display table, 2 regular chairs, power outlet, a trash can, a light bulb, booth fascia board branding, invitation to networking reception, tea/coffee breaks, pre-event meet-and-greet with other exhibitors. Additional items and services, such as B2B meetings, product presentations, magazine racks, booth branding, and other related requests are available on-demand.

IE Expo 2020

IE expo China 2020 is an environmental technology show featuring a comprehensive array of products that address the challenges of wastewater, air, soil remediation, waste management, and waste to energy. After decades of rapid economic growth, China is working to address its growing environmental concerns. It is seeking access to the latest equipment, technology, and innovations both from home and abroad to accelerate this process. IE expo China 2020 provides an excellent platform for companies to showcase their expertise and experience in specific environmental industry sectors. Each year, over 40 U.S. companies exhibit at the show. Right after the show on April 24, CS China Environment Team schedules to organize a technology summit in Yueqing City, Zhejiang Province to address challenges in their electroplating industrial parks. CS China Environment Team could provide presentation opportunity and matchmaking meeting for show exhibitors upon demands.
