Local Success - Weather Modification Inc's Identifies Potential Markets with RAISE Research
When you quite literally have a world of choices, it’s helpful to narrow things down. That’s exactly why Weather Modification International (WMI) recently sought out the U.S. Commercial Service / ND office’s RAISE research program. WMI provides cloud seeding and weather modification services in the US and around the world. The RAISE program provides companies with a worldwide comparative market scan of countries, helping companies determine the top countries to focus their exporting efforts. The research also provides in-country connections and industry insights for top markets. WMI identified several top markets, which led to some connections and promising business introductions in Brazil. WMI got support for their research efforts by using the ND Trade Office's State Trade Expansion Program (STEP) funding to reimburse 75% of the costs of their research project. STEP is currently open to North Dakota small businesses and is currently accepting applications for reimbursement of RAISE project fees.
