Exporters know that the Export Administration Regulations (‘Regs’) apply to ALL export transactions, regardless of the items being exported. Even when a tangible item does not carry a license requirement, all exported items fall under the jurisdiction of one of the USG agencies. Still, some companies grapple with applying a basic framework to their export strategy.
