Location: Uganda Opportunity: Hazardous Waste Disposal Description: According to the major E&P
companies (TOTAL E&P, Tullow & CNOOC) operating in Uganda's oil fields,
the requirement for collection, transportation, storage, treatment and
appropriate disposal of hazardous waste (bio-hazardous waste, used oils,
batteries, etc) and oil based mud cuttings from drilling activities are
expected increase exponentially over the next ten years. Current demand is
300tons/month and expected to rise to 800tons/month by end 2017 and to 1700
tons within the next 5 years. Currently this work is being undertaken by
