Opportunity: Business Development Group Visit to Brazil
Date: April 4-6, 2017
Description: Join the group of U.S. companies traveling to Sao Paulo, Brazil to meet with government and private sector officials. The trip is also coordinated for trip delegates to walk the show floor of the leading environmental trade show in Brazil (Pollutec Brazil).

Certified Trade Mission to Peru - Waster & Wastewater Opportunities
Date: January 23, 2017

Description: Peru’s new president, Pedro Pablo Kuczynski, is a former World Bank executive and former prime minister, Minister of Finance, and Minister of Energy for Peru. Kuczynski’s administration wants to set clear environmental standards and improve the country’s water and wastewater infrastructure. This presents an important opportunity for potential suppliers to gain traction in promoting to the incoming administration— potentially for the next five years and longer—new technologies, supplies, investments and services related to the water industry.

Direct Line for American Businesses: Doing Business in Ecuador in the Post-Correa Era

Event: World Ocean Summit

Description: In our fourth World Ocean Summit, we bring a critical eye to the important issue of how the blue economy is to be financed. The transition from a conventional economy in the ocean to a “blue” or sustainable economy could be a tremendous economic and investment opportunity, if done right. The risks and challenges are considerable. A new and intensive phase of economic activity in the ocean is getting underway, but science warns that the seas are facing unprecedented pressures from humans, and that time to save them is quickly running out.
