Subject:  Modernized e-File (MeF) Form 4562 Schema Notification

Attention: All Modernized e-File (MeF) Business and Individual (BMF & IMF) Transmitters, Software Developers and States

Several schema packages were placed into Production on Sunday, June 26, 2011. The information cited in the schema package for the Form 4562 is incorrect. Lines 1 and 3 on the Form 4562 specifically reflect inaccurate maximum dollar amounts. Please note that the schema for the Form 1040 is NOT impacted.  However, the impacted BMF Forms are: 1120, 1120F, 1120S, 1120POL, 1065, 990, 990EZ, 990PF and Form 7004. The Form 4562 schema will be updated as a minor (version change) and will be shared as expeditiously as possible.
