Subject:  New Cookies introduced with the Integrated Enterprise Portal (IEP)


With the rollover of the new IEP portal on Sept 3, 2013, the IRS introduced new cookies which are used by the architecture to manage site affinity. The cookies called DC and JSESSION are being passed to clients on the Login Service Request and are required to be passed back with all service requests within the same session.
