Final Reminder: October 31 Deadline for Time of Sale Reports
The deadline to submit time of sale reports through the Energy Credits Online (ECO) portal is Oct. 31, 2026. After this date, the ability to submit time of sale reports will be limited. If you need to submit a report after the deadline, you must contact the IRS through Secure Messaging for assistance.
Review your records and submit all outstanding time of sale reports by Oct. 31, 2026. Submitting reports before the deadline can help prevent potential delays that may affect customers claiming clean vehicle tax credits.
Be sure to upload all required supporting documentation through the ECO portal with each submission to facilitate timely review and processing.
