System Issue Impacting the IVES Program – E-Fax Dear IVES Participants, On December 28,2023, we recognized technical issues on the Income Verification Express Services (IVES) E-Fax system. Faxed requests that have failed transmission will need to be resent for processing. Currently, we’re seeing about 50% of fax transmissions fail for various reasons such as “Fax Number Busy,” “No Answer at Fax Number,” and “Transmission Error.” Participants are welcome to continue submitting their faxes until the transmission(s) are successful. Successful transmissions have made it into the processing queue and will be worked in first-in, first-out order. We are currently working to resolve the issue with those failed transmissions. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Additional information will be provided as necessary.
