Subject: 2024 Filing Season for Information Returns Intake System (IRIS) Returns

Attention: Software Developers and Information Return Transmitters

The IRIS system will begin accepting Information Returns on Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. Eastern time via the Taxpayer Portal and Application to Application (A2A) filing channels.

You can e-file any Form 1099 with IRIS in 2024.

For more information about IRIS refer to the IRIS page on IRS.gov at E-file Forms 1099 with IRIS.
