QAAMS Fully Transitioning to a Modernized
Sign-in System

Beginning May 17, 2023, the IRS will no longer support the use of existing IRS accounts to access the Qualified Intermediary, Withholding Foreign Partnership, Withholding Foreign Trust Application and Account Management System (QAAMS). QAAMS now offers sign-in options with Login.gov and ID.me, IRS technology providers.

Please create a Login.gov or ID.me account using the same first name, last name, and email account, by May 17, 2023. A taxpayer identification number (TIN) is not needed to access QAAMS.

Login.gov is an account created, maintained, and secured by the U.S. government.

ID.me is an account created, maintained, and secured by a technology provider.

For questions and assistance regarding Login.gov, please visit Help | Login.gov. For questions and assistance regarding ID.me, please visit Verifying for the Internal Revenue Service – ID.me Help Site.
