System issue impacting the IVES program – A2A & WebUI Dear IVES Participants, A system issue has been identified that impacts the IVES program for submissions received via the Application to Application (A2A) and WebUI channels. Requests for Married Filing Jointly (MFJ) transcripts are unable to be fulfilled through the A2A and WebUI. Please fax MFJ transcript requests on Forms 4506-C via the legacy EFS system. As a result of this system issue, IVES participants may experience rejection notices for transcripts submitted through the A2A or WebUI channel(s) for years where taxpayers were MFJ. MFJ processing via A2A and Web UI is expected to resume May 1, 2023. Additional information regarding any further delays will be shared as necessary. Thank you, IRS IVES Team
