Register now for the December 7 webinar. 3. e-File/ Transcript Delivery Systems Update E-Services transitioned to a new platform this weekend bringing an improved look and feel to the applications. Most user applications for e-File, Transcript Delivery Systems and the AIR Transmitter Control Code are now available. All users, except for state users, may submit new or change existing applications. Meanwhile, states may submit critical changes by contacting their IRS Government Liaison. We apologize for the inconvenience. The IRS has additional personnel on the e-Help Desk to assist with applications questions and processing. Please note, moving e-Services to Secure Access authentication is still on hold while we review identity-proofing vendor options. 4. Recent IRS Announcements

Using Truncated Taxpayer Identification Numbers on Forms W-2 Proposed regulation REG-105004-16, Use of Truncated Taxpayer Identification Numbers on Forms W-2, Wage and Tax Statement, Furnished to Employees, was filed with the Federal Register on 9/20/17. The due date for submitting comments on the proposed regulations is December 18, 2017.
