2. Updates to FATCA XML Schema v2.0 and Notification XML Schema v2.3
Beginning on January 16, 2017, all FATCA Reports (new, nil, corrected, void and amended) must be created using the FATCA XML schema version 2.0. The last day and time to submit FATCA reports using the XML Schema version1.1 is 12:00 PM EDT Friday, January 13, 2017. The two versions of the FATCA XML schema are not backwards compatible. Therefore, files submitted using schema version 1.1 may not validate against version 2.0, or you may receive a file error notification.

If you need immediate assistance, contact the IDES Help Desk.
