Celebrating your HUD Strong Families Vaccine Events During the National Vaccine Month of Action!
On June 22, 2021, the White House announced that we have met the President's vaccination 70% goal for Americans 30 and older! This important milestone during the National Vaccine Month of Action reflects YOUR hard work and dedication toward helping your communities end the COVID-19 pandemic.
Today we celebrate your efforts throughout the spring to increase vaccine confidence and access in your communities with HUD Strong Families vaccine events, including on-site, mobile, and remote vaccine clinics. These stories and images represent the work of each and every community to contain and prevent COVID-19.
As we approach Independence Day with the end of the pandemic in sight, we know that much work remains, particularly for those under 30. To support your youth engagement efforts throughout the summer, we are launching HUD Strong Families' summer youth campaign! We hope you will join us in helping young people to emerge from the pandemic safer and stronger.

Temple University College of Public Health followed on May 12, offering Raymond Rosen residents in various age groups a second opportunity to get vaccinated on-site without facing long lines or transportation issues. Keep up with Myths and Facts about COVID-19 Vaccines
Q: Can receiving a COVID-19 vaccine cause you to be magnetic?
No. Receiving a COVID-19 vaccine will not make you magnetic, including at the site of vaccination which is usually your arm. COVID-19 vaccines do not contain ingredients that can produce an electromagnetic field at the site of your injection.
All COVID-19 vaccines are free from metals such as iron, nickel, cobalt, lithium, and rare earth alloys, as well as any manufactured products such as microelectronics, electrodes, carbon nanotubes, and nanowire semiconductors. In addition, the typical dose for a COVID-19 vaccine is less than a milliliter, which is not enough to allow magnets to be attracted to your vaccination site even if the vaccine was filled with a magnetic metal.
Learn more about the ingredients in the COVID-19 vaccinations authorized for use in the United States.
